🦃 New Turkey Fryer Owner’s Checklist
Congratulations on your new fryer! Before your first cook, please take a few minutes to check the following:
1. Unpack & Inspect
- Remove all items from the box.
- Compare with the Parts List in your manual.
- Look for dents, cracks, or shipping damage.
2. Confirm All Parts Are Present
- Burner base
- Pot & lid
- Basket & hook/lifting tool
- Regulator & hose
- Thermometer
- Hardware (nuts, bolts, washers)
- Model-specific accessories
(Check your manual for the exact list.)
3. Test for Proper Operation
- Attach regulator & hose to the burner.
- Connect to propane tank → check for leaks with soapy water (never flame).
- Light the burner → flame should be steady.
- Test thermometer in boiling water (~212°F at sea level).
4. If You Notice Any Issues
- Do not return the entire fryer.
